The Turning Points Gala is a powerful and inspiring social event that honours the strength of individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and abuse in our community. Each year, we support approximately 20,000 individuals on their journey toward safety, healing, and healthier relationships. This evening celebrates their courage and the life-changing work of FearIsNotLove.
The event brings together compassionate individuals and community leaders who believe in creating lasting change. It is more than just a night to remember, it is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and invite your guests to learn more about a meaningful cause, while supporting our programs and resources that transform lives.

Dave Kelly
Emcee
Dave Kelly is an award-winning host, writer, and interviewer who creates intelligent and deeply human moments for events and keynote conversations around the world. He is the host of Dave Kelly Live – Canada’s own talk variety show. From his beginnings as a TV Host, Dave has spent decades leading conversations with business and political leaders across North America and beyond, from Stanford School of Business in California to Amman, Jordan and everywhere in between. Dave is the co- founder of Kelly Brothers Productions, an award-winning video and entertainment company.
Lindsay Ell
Special Guest Performance
Lindsay Ell’s decade-long career as an artist and songwriter includes three #1 hits, a Platinum single, and over 400 million streams. A CCMA Award winner with nominations from the CMA, ACM, CMT, and JUNO Awards, she’s also earned more than 20 CCMA nominations.
The Calgary-born, Nashville-based artist channels her resilience into empowering and advocating for others through her work with the Make You Movement, a charitable fund she launched in 2020 after coming forward as a sexual assault survivor.
Russell Broom Memorial Orchestra
Special Guest Performers
The Russell Broom Memorial Orchestra consists of Calgary musicians Lisa Jacobs, Adam Dowling and Russell Broom, who have worked with artists such as Jann Arden, Ian Tyson, Kyle McKearney, George Canyon, Robbie Williams, Jill Barber, Josh Groban, Art Bergmann, Terri Clark, Ashley MacIsaac and many more.
