Sometimes it helps to talk it out.
The Community Services Counselling Program focuses on serving those who want short-term, crisis-oriented support as well as longer-term counselling, while living in the community and who are unable or choose not to enter the Emergency Shelter. Our Community Services Counsellors provide counselling in a safe place in the community that supports safety planning, case planning, parenting support, and navigation of community resources which are available to meet your needs.
To access the Community Services Counselling Program or other appropriate services, call our free 24-Hour Helpline at 403.234.7233 (SAFE) to speak with a counsellor.
You’ll find someone who cares and does their best to understand and support you in your situation.
Counsellors provide support, safety planning, referrals to community resources, goal planning, and information about domestic violence – to support people in their journeys towards lives free from abuse.
Counselling is offered in-person at a safe location, through virtual technology, and over the phone.
