What To Expect

We want your volunteer experience to be meaningful, supported and well matched to your interests and abilities.

  1. Apply

Tell us a little about yourself, your interests, and your availability on our application form.

  1. Connect

We’ll learn more about you and explore where your skills and interests may be the best fit. Information about specific training needed will be shared with you at your interview.

  1. Complete screening and training

Volunteers are required to complete onboarding and screening, which includes a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Persons Check and an Intervention Records Check. You will also be required to attend an online new volunteer orientation presentation. Further training may be required depending on the opportunity you have chosen.

  1. Get involved

Once you’re ready, you can begin contributing your time and skills to FearIsNotLove.

What you Need to Know

Current volunteer opportunities require:

  • Volunteers to be 18 years of age or older
  • A minimum commitment of a six-month term
  • Criminal Record and Intervention Record Checks
  • New Volunteer Orientation
  • Specific role training as required.
